Background : Anemia is one of the most common diseases childhood and it a health problem globally, particularly in developing regions. anemia during strongly associated with neurological development, cognitive immune function, can lead to mental impairment poor motor development. Aims study: The aim this study was evaluate prevalence risk factors among children aged 5 months -12 years Haditha City. Methodology: A descriptive quantitative carried out at General Hospital clinic City from January 15th 2020 June 18th order assess - 12 . structured questionnaire used collect data on characteristics members their families. Hemoglobin (Hb) levels were measured by using micro chemical reaction method. Results: In total, 340 included study. 82.4% results show that diarrhea fever previous two weeks (23.2%, 52.4%) respectively, 19.1% caregivers could identify optimum timing complementary feeding but only 20.9% first food which should be consumed infants Conclusions: age .The practice caregiver nutritional knowledge low Nutrition improvement projects are needed reduce burden Key Words Risk Factors, Anemia, Children
